For fire protection companies
You’ve won the contract. We’ll do the doors.
Fire protection companies across Sydney send us their door work, and have done for years. It comes back tagged, certified and right the first time.
We don’t approach your client, we don’t put our name on your job, and we don’t turn a door replacement into a conversation about your other services. The certificate goes out in your name.
For strata managers, owners and builders
Been told your fire doors don’t comply?
It’s not an emergency. It is a deadline. And it’s usually less work than the defect report makes it sound.
We’ll look at what you’ve actually got, tell you what needs doing and what doesn’t, and give you a price before you commit to anything. In plain English — you shouldn’t need to learn a standard to understand a quote.
What we do
Fire door installation
New doorsets, hung, tagged and certified to AS 1905.1.
Fire door replacement
When a door is past repair — measured, made and swapped with the building still running.
Fire door maintenance
Repairs, adjustments and the defects that turn up at every inspection.
Frame installation
Frames and jambs, including backfilling done the way the tested system requires.
Fire door hardware
Closers, latches, seals and panic hardware — matched to the door’s tested system, not just what fits.
AS 1851 inspect and test
Annual and six-monthly inspections, with records your certifier will accept.
How it works
STEP 1
We measure the opening, digitally
Every opening is templated with a Prodim Proliner — an exact digital drawing of the hole as it really is, not four tape measurements and a guess.
STEP 2
The door is made to that drawing
The template goes straight to manufacture, so the door arrives the size of your opening. No trimming to make it fit.
STEP 3
Fitted, tagged, certified
A short, quiet install because the fabrication already happened. Every door leaves with its tag and its certificate.
Older buildings don’t have square openings. Measure one with a tape and you’ll be trimming the door on site to make it fit — and a fire door can only be trimmed about 3 mm before it stops matching the system it was tested under. Templating the opening digitally means the door is made to the hole in the first place. It fits, it’s quiet to install, and nothing about it has been modified in a way you’d rather not explain to a certifier.
Where we work
Sydney. Most of our work is metropolitan Sydney — the inner city, the lower North Shore, the eastern suburbs and the south. Chatswood, Surry Hills, Alexandria, Glebe, Balmain, North Sydney, Manly, Bexley and the Sutherland Shire are all regular ground.
Wollongong and the Illawarra. We travel for the right job and we’re actively taking on work here.
Newcastle and the Hunter. Our newest branch. Get in touch and we’ll tell you honestly what we can cover and when.
Nobody explains this stuff, so we did.
Fire door compliance is governed by standards most people never see, written for people who already understand them. That’s fine until you’re the one who has to sign something.
We’ve written the plain-English versions — what AS 1905.1 actually requires, what an AS 1851 inspection covers, how the NSW Annual Fire Safety Statement process works and where it usually goes wrong.
